CCR SLOT is a reader of identification cards designed for the industrial environment. It allows for the continual reading of identification cards. It is most often used in systems for registering the presence of employees at their workstation.

After inserting the identification card into the reader, the process of reading will commence. This process is periodically repeated as long as the card in inserted. After ejecting the card the reader will inform the superior system about this event.

CCR SLOT allows for recording the presence of an employee at the workstation. They are linked to the CCU (Central Control Unit) or to the DCU (Door Control Unit) by means of RS485. Based on the information from the reader, the superior system can determine the time spent at the workstation.
