CCU Central Control Unit for largely distributed systems

Description

CCU (Central Control Unit) is a central control unit for access and security systems supporting fully autonomous operation.

The control unit is the main executive element of the system, coordinating the door units (DCU, Door Control Unit). It contains a copy of the configuration database which allows it to operate autonomously.

CCU fulfils the basic access and security functions. It collects and evaluates the data from online door units and coordinates the alarm environment. Depending on the configuration it evaluates the alarm situations, communicates with the superior system and by means of the door units controls the online units.
