CCU12 Central Control Unit

Description

CCU12 (Central Control Unit) is a central control unit for access, security and attendance systems, as well as for the systems for canteens supporting fully autonomous operation.

The Control Unit is the essential executive unit of the system which collects data from online card readers (CCR, Contal Card Reader). It contains a copy of the configuration database which allows it to operate independently in autonomous mode too.

CCU12 fulfils the basic access and security functions. It collects and evaluates data from the digital inputs and coordinates the alarm environment. Depending on the configuration, it evaluates the alarm status of the system, controls online devices and communicates with the superior system. In the attendance system it processes information about transfers scanned at the terminals and writes them into the database. In the system for canteens it coordinates the process of ordering and distribution of meals.
