CCU40 (Central Control Unit) is a central control unit for access, security and attendance systems, as well as for systems for canteens.

The control unit is the essential executive unit of the system which collects data from online card readers (CCR, Contal Card Reader). It contains a copy of the system’s configuration database which allows it to function autonomously.

CCU40 fulfils the basic access and security functions, collects and evaluates data from digital inputs and coordinates the alarm environment. Depending on the configuration it evaluates the alarm situations and communicates with the superior system. In the attendance system, it processes information about transfers scanned by the terminals and saves them in the database. In the system for canteens it coordinates the process of ordering and distributing of meals.
